The Franchise Association of New Zealand (FANZ) hosted its annual National Franchise Conference in 2023, bringing together franchise leaders, industry experts, and aspiring franchisees from across the country.
The conference featured keynote speakers discussing the latest trends in franchising, workshops on franchise management, and networking opportunities for attendees.
Topics covered included digital transformation in franchising, managing multi-unit operations, franchise recruitment strategies, and navigating the post-pandemic business landscape.
"The conference is the highlight of the franchise calendar in New Zealand," said the FANZ Executive Director. "It provides an invaluable opportunity for our members to learn, connect, and share best practices."
The event also featured the annual FANZ Franchise Awards, recognising excellence across the franchise sector. Categories included Franchise System of the Year, Franchisee of the Year, and the prestigious Supreme Award.
Attendance was strong, reflecting the continued growth and vitality of the New Zealand franchise sector, which now encompasses over 590 systems and contributes approximately $27.6 billion to the national economy.
